BSAF 2019: Boston Underground Film Festival, Day Two

Hey kiddies, it’s that time of year again – time to traipse out to Cambridge  (NOT Boston, as I’ve pointed out year after year after year…) to the Brattle Theatre and take in all the fun weirdness in film that will be celebrated at the 2019 Boston Underground Film Festival! This year’s lineup has something for everyone, and it’s gonna be AWESOME!

It’s day two of BUFF tonight. Below, you’ll find tonight’s  schedule – click on the links for full show information and ticket information – but buy your tickets EARLY – these shows have a history of selling out, and you don’t want to miss out!

5:30 PM –Werewolf (New England Premiere)

7:30 PM – Industrial Accident: The Story of Wax Trax! Records (Boston Premiere)

9:30 PM –Girl On The Third Floor (New England Premiere – director Travis Stevens in attendance)

Wrestling fans may want to pay particular interest to Girl On The Third Floor, as it stars former WWE superstar Phil “CM Punk” Brooks, and got rave reviews at SXSW in Austin last week. But that fact aside, ALL of the films BUFF brings to our area are worth seeing! And as always, if you don’t have a pass, but have tickets, get in line early – and there will be a rush line for all films if any tickets are still available.

Word of mouth is spreading about last nights’ “sneak preview” of Sundance favorite “Hail Satan?” – reviews coming out of BUFF about the film have been RAVES. And if you missed it, don’t worry – before it hits theaters this summer, you have one more chance to check it out – it’s also screening at metro Boston’s ONLY all-documentary festival, the Salem Film Fest, next weekend.

The Brattle Theatre, home to BUFF for six years running, is located at 40 Brattle Street in Cambridge. Public Transportation is less than a block away if you so choose to use the “T”.

We’ll have your schedule every morning during BUFF’s run, and links to film and ticket information. We’ll also be covering BUFF and the other NINE festivals and film series that happen in greater Boston between March 1 and May 1 every year coming up in late May on our two part “Boston Springs A Fethival” episodes of eCinemaOne‘s Subject:CINEMA podcast!

Don’t forget to support our coverage of this and all the other things we do – this time of year is especially hard work with all the goings on, so please take us into your heart and spread a little love by becoming a Patreon Patron of eCinemaBoston – you can do that – and support the entire PNRNetworks family – at http://patreon.com/pnrnetworks!
