WCVB and other local news stations are reporting that shots were fired about 8:45 PM this evening in the parking lot outside Showcase Cinemas in Revere, Police belive that the shots came from the Revere Carnival, which is in the theatre’s parking lot. Several car windows were shattered. Police evacuated the carnival and the cinema by closing down Route 60 and herding people to the parking lot of the Squire Road Stop N Shop across the street.
