BOSTON SPRINGS A FETHIVAL 2017: Salem Film Fest, Day Eight

Metro Boston’s largest all-documentary festival, the 10th annual Salem Film Fest, wraps up a decade of docs tonight with a sold out closing film and annual awards ceremony. If you haven’t got tickets for this hot program yet, you’re out of luck my friend…you waited too long! I did warn you that some shows sell out!

7:00 PM I AM THE BLUES
An up-close-and-personal musical journey through the Louisiana bayou and Mississippi delta juke joints with the aging blues musicians who still play the Chitlin’ Circuit, even in their 80s.

8:30 PM – CLOSING NIGHT RECEPTION AND AWARDS CEREMONY
Special Jury and Audience award winners will be announced at the closing night reception immediately following the final screening of Salem Film Fest at CinemaSalem. Location: Village Tavern (right across from CinemaSalem) – Cash bar.
