BOSTON SPRINGS A FETHIVAL: Salem Film Fest 2016 Day Eight

SFFLogo_2016BIGIt’s day eight and done for the 2016 Salem Film Fest! This year’s fest has brought our area some of the most engaging, engrossing documentaries around, and tonight’s closing night selections are no different. And also tonight, a choice has to be made – of the three films offered, two of them are running opposite each other. Selections will be screened at both CinemaSalem and the Morse Auditorium @ Peabody Essex Museum.

Speaking of which, as always, tickets are available at the CinemaSalem boxoffice and online through each film’s page on the film fest website; tickets cannot be sold online after a certain time, so make sure you read the small print for each film.

Here’s today’s schedule; click on the links for full info and ticket info for each film.

5:30 PM, Morse Auditorium @ Peabody Essex Museum – The Birth Of Sake

6:00 PM, CinemaSalem – Lampedusa In Winter

8:00 PM, Morse Auditorium @ Peabody Essex Museum – Twilight of a Life

It was a joy to spend several days at the Salem Film Fest this year as usual. And although we had to return home earlier this week, those still in Salem can also partake of the Closing Night Awards reception at Peabody Essex Museum, directly following the final film of the festival.

We look forward to next year’s Salem Film Fest – and this weekend, we’ll have a complete guide to the festival, with links to our coverage, all the films, and more! And don’t forget to catch full coverage of the Fest as part of Subject:CINEMA‘s Double Feature Weekend “Boston Springs A Fethival” shows in mid-May!

See you next year at the Salem Film Fest!
