Saugus’ legendary Kowloon Restaurant has been serving only take out since the COVID-19 pandemic began.
Next week, they’ll move a little further into business. And expand a bit as well.
The town has approved the popular Chinese and Asian eatery’s plan to begin using carhops to serve diners in their cars, while also offering a variety of movies on a pop up screen in their large parking lot.
As it has not yet been implemented, we are not sure how this plan is going to work, but they hope to have their new system up and operating by the weekend of June 12.
More news on this fun and exciting new plan will be forthcoming I’m sure. Let’s all hope that this move will help to ease everyone’s tensions after nearly three months of quarantines and masks!
