IT’S HERE! IT’S HERE! Boston Springs A Fethival 2019 is officially underway, and we’ll have info for all the various festivals and their schedules every day, so be sure to keep your browser turned to eCinemaBoston.com for all the latest info!
ReelAbilities Boston showcases those with disabilities and the way people overcome them. It’s a unique film festival concept that has been happening in New York since 2007, and beginning with Cincinnati in 2012, has now spread to a national network of local festivals.
Tonight’s offering is the film I’ll Push You. Here’s the official synopsis from the ReelAbilities Boston website:
I’ll Push You is a story of friendship, love, hope, and sacrifice. A documentary that explores the raw, deep human condition and the connections we all long for. The Camino de Santiago serves as the beautiful backdrop to the lives of Justin Skeesuck and Patrick Gray. I’ll Push You provides insight into what it means to live for one another, overcome limitations, and push one another toward who we each long to be.
There will be a prerecorded Q&A with film subjects Justin Skeesuck and Patrick Gray after the screening. The film is co-presented with Cotting School, where the screening also takes place at 6:30 PM. Admission is free, but you must register, which you can do here.
ReelAbilities Boston is an excellent way to celebrate life in all its glory – films presented by this festival are usually uplifting and truly magical, so know if you’re headed for a film here, you’re going to come out thinking a LOT about what you’ve seen, and also probably with a smile on your face…
