The Boston Turkish Film Festival continues it’s 18th annual fest today. BTFF is a component of the overall Boston Turkish Festival, which also has a great line up of music performances to enjoy.
Day six’s offering is at 6:30 PM with an encore screening of the festivals’ opening night film, the North American premiere The Wild Pear Tree, from director Nuri Bilge Ceylan. Here’s the official write up from the festival website:
For some, the countryside is a place of exile where all hopes ultimately merge with solitude. A boundless place of exile where all hopes and dreams merge with despair like the coinciding destinies of fathers and sons…
The screening takes place at the Remis Auditorium at the Museum of Fine Arts, 465 Huntington St, Boston. Tickets for the screening can be purchased through the MFA website here.
