BSAF 2018: Boston Turkish Film Festival, Day Ten

IT’S HERE! IT’S HERE! As we told you a couple weeks back, spring is the busiest season for film festivals in Metro Boston. But this year is especially crazy, because FIVE of the festivals were running their programming on the same weekend. Now, that weekend has passed, and we’re down to just two festivals for the next weekend. Much easier to choose..or is it? 🙂

So…lets get started kiddies! Boston Springs A Fethival 2018 is officially underway, and we’ll have info for all the various festivals and their schedules every day, so be sure to keep your browser turned to eCinemaBoston.com for all the latest info!

The Boston Turkish Film Festival gets underway for it’s third and final weekend of it’s 17th annual program. As always, all screenings are at the Museum of Fine Arts in Boston.

Today’s offering is the film, What A Crush, from director Selçuk Aydemir Here’s the official synopsis from the BTFF website:

Ferhat is a rich, immature, and spoiled man who becomes CEO of his father’s company. His best friend Gökhan is the CFO of the same company. They run the company together, but do not receive any sympathy from the staff because they mistreat their subordinates. One day, they make friends with a restaurant owner, and Ferhat falls in love with the owner’s daughter, Elif. She is a tough and smart woman, highly successful in her career, and does not make it easy for Ferhat.

The screening starts at 7 PM at the Remis Auditorium, and tickets can be purchased here.

BTFF will have more great new programming throughout the weekend with both new and encore offerings, shorts, and panel discussions for your choosing!
