Eurovision comes to the States for the first time in it’s history (which is over sixty years, not fifty as I said in the piece…bad TC, no cookie…I also mentioned that the song “Love Is Blue” was a Eurovision winner, and later became a monster instrumental hit for Paul Mauriat; the latter part of that is true – but it was only a finalist in 1967, NOT the winner – Sandie Shaw’s “Puppet On A String” from the UK was the winner that year…this is what happens when I speak off the cuff…heh heh heh)
