12814253_10153350323305759_7539237942467518030_nIt’s day six of this year’s Wicked Queer: Boston LGBT Film Festival! We’re about halfway into the festival, and there are four screenings on today’s program, and two of them are free – and one of those is a multi-Academy Award nominee!

Here’s today’s lineup with time and location – as always, click on the film title for more info:

6:00 PM  International Shorts (Brattle Theatre)

6:30 PM  A Road To Home (Fenway Health Center – Free Admission)

7:00 PM  Carol (Arts/Parmount – Free Admission, co-presented by Emerson’s “Bright Lights” series)

8:30 PM  Departure (Brattle Theatre)

If you have not yet had the opportunity to see the Academy Award-nominated Carol, today is the best chance – you can see it on the big screen for free, and let the film’s lush and beautiful cinematography wash over you. It is co-presented by Bright Lights, Emerson’s film series coordinated by Anna Feder, who is also one of the Wicked Queer programmers. Man, that works out doesn’t it?
