IT’S HERE! The day when the weird in everyone can come out and show itself for five glorious days – it’s time for the Boston Underground Film Festival!
This year, BUFF has put together a STELLAR lineup of great flix for everyone to check out, and Opening Night kicks off with a great set of films! Most showings are at the Brattle Theatre in Cambridge, with a few selected offerings at the Harvard Film Archive (which will be noted), also in Cambridge, with parties galore all over the area!
Tonight’s Opening Night Lineup is as follows (click on the link for more information on each film and ticket purchase info):
7:00 PM The Lure
9:30 PM Belladonna of Sadness
10:00 PM Opening night Party @Night Market
As always, BUFF provides the best of “Weird World Cinema”, and we can’t wait to check things out – we’ll be at selected films this year, including tonight at “The Lure” so if you see us, please stop and say hello and let us know your story – why YOU are one of the Boston Underground‘s fans and patrons! And don’t forget to check out the fest’s official website, with all the goods on every film showing!
eCinemaBoston will have daily schedules and coverage throughout the festival, which runs through Sunday March 27 (there’s something distinctly perverse about running this festival during Holy Week every other year or so…and I have a feeling that is VERY intended…heh heh). And don’t forget to get movie reviews and a complete wrap of the festival in May as part of Subject:CINEMA‘s huge double feature “Boston Springs A Fethival” podcasts!
See you with more from BUFF tomorrow morning!
