BOSTON SPRINGS A FETHIVAL: Boston LGBT Film Festival Day 9

The 30th Annual Boston LGBT Film Festival is in full swing this weekend as we enter the closing days, with multiple screenings in multiple locations, and you can bet that the films are going to be hard to choose between! You can check out full descriptions at the festival’s official website, http://bostonlgbtfilmfestival.org.

It’s FRIDAY – and OH MAN am I excited…Tonight I get to see a film I’ve been waiting for since last year’s Venice Film Festival…and I can’t wait…

If there’s anyone in the biz today who gets more buzz than 25 year old French-Canadian wunderkind Xavier Dolan, I’d be hard pressed to name them. ALL Of Dolan’s films have been critical smashes, and tonight is the Boston area premiere of his latest, Tom At The Farm, and I am making my very first trip to the MFA and the Remis Auditorium therein to check it out. I found out it was coming when it was brought up at the 20th Annual Chlotrudis Awards, and had my tickets the very next day. Alas, Kim will NOT be joining me – she’s still nursing a badly sprained knee, and that definitely sucks. But I’m betting this film will not!

Here’s Friday’s Schedule:

Remis Auditorum @ Museum of Fine Arts, Boston

7 PM Tom At The Farm (Tom a la Ferme)

Brattle Theatre, Cambridge

6 PM  Lesbiana

7:30 PM  Who’s Afraid Of Vagina Wolf?
