btf-logoThe 13th annual Boston Turkish Film Festival gets underway this evening at Remis Auditorium at the Museum of Fine Arts.

The festival kicks off with JIN, with director Reha Erdem in attendance. The film follows its title character, Jîn, who according to the festival website “is something of a Red Riding Hood, a 17-year-old girl determined to live, to participate in life no matter what it takes; and to this end she finds herself battling her way bravely through dark forests.”

The film starts at 7:30 PM.

The festival runs tonight through Sunday and then on following weekends through April 26th. eCinemaOne and IndieFilmSpotlight will have coverage and schedules posted on festival days so that readers can check the festival out.
